"Thanks
for your invitation to comment on my new Ultra-Scan mirrors. I
installed them today and took a ride to get used to them earlier
this evening. I love the mirrors, don't know how I lived without
them, and have no negatives whatsoever about the mounting. It
is perhaps worth mentioning, as concerns your product development,
that it is a kind of tight fit. Because the windshield leans back
at a pretty flat angle as it lowers, and given that most ST'ers
look over their windshield, the mirrors must be mounted "upside
down" to work. At that, they must be brought to the most extreme
outward angle. SO? So, nothing. It's a great view of my blind
spot and I love it. Thank goodness I got these before something
came out of that blind spot and got me! This is a fine, ultra-cool
product that adds to the looks of my ST1300. I send you my very
best regards,
R. Potter,

"They are great for seeing in the blind spot that is between the
motorcycle's standard mirror rear vision and your peripheral vision
out of the side of your helmet. They allow you to keep track of
the cars around you, especially the ones passing and moving in
and out of the lanes around and behind you. They will be a must
for touring or long freeway travel. They will also be must for
commuters that travel in heavy traffic."

"Several people in our club
have the mirrors on their PC 800's and all are real satisfied
with them"

"Used Winglets and Mirrors
in Iron Butt, Winglet solved wind noise problems, Mirrors are
first accessory I would add to an ST. I removed both and they
are now on by BMW K1200RS."

Dear Saeng,
I have received the replacement mirrors for the one I had that
came unglued. I also took the liberty of submitting a letter concerning
this to the ST1100 list and the Long Distance riders list. I appreciate
your prompt attention and service.
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to pass along some comments about a company called
Saeng, which no doubt most of you have heard of. Several months
ago, I purchased a set of their quick scan mirrors for my ST1100.
While they are definitely kind of ugly looking, they work very
well. I never have to turn my head a bit to be sure of traffic.
There are no blind spots with these mirrors. Unfortunately, on
my way to the Midwest Fest Rally, one of the mirrors departed
My MC on the Ohio Turnpike at about 85mph. The glue that holds
the mirror to its mount had failed causing the mirror to separate.
When I called Saeng, I was told that they were aware of a problem
with some of the glue, they had fixed the problem and would send
me 2 replacements because the other mirror would likely come undone
also. 2 days later, by priority mail, I received a pair of mirrors,
and was not even asked to sent the other one back. This is a great
company and one that I will surely recommend for their customer
service was outstanding. If they ever give a seminar on how to
treat customers, I know a couple of Honda dealers who should probably
attend.
