How do I determine which size of Wing-Tips to use?
Just measure a straight line distance from the trailing edge of your shield. The large deflector's base units stand 34.5cm (13.6 in) tip-to-tip and the small deflector's base units stand 29cm (11.5 in) tip-to-tip. Pick the largest that will fit.

How far will a Wing-Tip boost the air?
Wing-Tips on average give about 10" of boost. This varies depending on the base shields angle of attack but is often enough to make a significant reduction in wind noise.

How much do Wing-Tips tip?
It varies from bike to bike but on average Wing-Tips tilt forward about 50 degrees and back about 15 degrees.

How are Wing-Tips attached?
The Wing-Tip base units (the part attached to the fairing) are tape mounted. The bases can be removed but the tape can be used only once. The tape is applied to the base units, at the factory, using an adhesive enhancer so new base units are needed for remounting. Replacement base units are available and can be ordered in the Replacement Parts section or by calling Tech-Support. Wing-Tips are not intended for use on near vertical shields.
